I have been working very hard on creating habits that eventually build into routines. While I already do some of the things on this list, there are some habits that I am working on introducing to add more value to my nightly routine. Take a look at my ultimate bedtime routine!
- Clean up the kitchen- a nice reset for the following morning
- Let the dogs out and play with the cats to tire them out for the night
- Pack lunch for the following day and set up coffee for the morning
- Tuck the dogs in for the evening
- Close up the house- lights off, blinds drawn, doors and windows locked up
- Clothing laid out for the following day
- Evening shower and skincare
- Journal about the day & practice gratitude- 5 minutes minimum
- Cleanse the energy in the bedroom
- Watch a few goofy instagram reels & set alarms for the morning
- Put on an ASMR video to relax
- Drift off to sleep
